Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced WebSmart Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications built on IBM i/AS400 platforms using WebSmart.
Required Experience
- 8+ years of application development and support experience
- 8+ years of WebSmart / IBM i development
- Strong hands-on experience with WebSmart development
- Strong experience in IBM i / AS400 environment
- Strong experience with DB2/400 and SQL
- Experience developing backend business logic and application workflows
- Experience with debugging, issue analysis, and production support
- Experience with code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and release support
- Experience in application enhancements, performance tuning, and modernization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently on complex technical assignments
Preferred Experience
- RPG, RPGLE, or CL programming
- PHP-based WebSmart development
- Web Services, REST APIs, and System Integrations
- Application modernization or migration projects
- Agile development methodologies
- Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration
